Overview of how Lilly Bug's Tallows came to be:

My mom passed in 2024 after a long battle with cancer. I spent a lot of time with her & helped her with anything she needed me to do.  After she left this world, I was utterly lost, not knowing what to do & still missing her so much. I needed some type of hobby, something productive and fulfilling to do in my spare time. 

My youngest son has been rendering tallow for a number of yrs now for cooking purposes. It sparked my curiosity, so I decided to research tallow. I discovered there are SO many things you can use tallow for - it's not just for cooking! I made my first batch of whipped tallow for my personal use & to give to friends. (My whipped tallow is the ONLY skin moisturizer I use now) My son taught me the rendering process and I have expanded to making lip balms, candles & soaps! The best part is (besides being healthy for you) that I truly enjoy making these items! As for the name Lilly Bug's - Lilly Bug was a nickname of my mom's . 💕 All of my products are made right in my kitchen with all natural ingredients and a whole lotta love.
