How Lillybug’s Tallows Came to Be

Lillybug’s Tallows came to be from a simple desire for clean, effective skincare made with real ingredients. After discovering the nourishing power of grass-fed beef tallow — rich in skin-loving vitamins and naturally compatible with our skin — I started crafting small batches at home.

With just tallow and a few pure, purposeful ingredients, I created a whipped balm that truly soothed and restored dry, irritated skin. Friends and family began asking for jars of their own, and as word spread, so did the vision.

Over time, Lillybug’s Tallows grew beyond the original whipped balm. I’ve since incorporated handcrafted tallow soap, lip balm, and small-batch candles — all made with the same commitment to quality and simplicity.
